It is a 3 month skill enhancement program designed to provide foundational skills for effective counselling practice. This course is ideal for individuals seeking to develop and refine core counselling skills that can be applied in counseling settings.
Participants will learn essential counseling techniques, such as active listening, empathy, questioning, and non-verbal communication. The course also covers basic theoretical frameworks and ethical considerations in counselling, equipping students with a comprehensive understanding of the counselling process.
Throughout the program, students will engage in practical exercises and role-playing scenarios to apply their learning in real-world contexts. Upon the successful completion of the course, participants will be able to establish rapport, conduct initial assessments, and support clients in exploring their feelings and concerns.
